Redoing our Kitchen

We moved into a ten year old home and the kitchen was in need of updates. It was an all white kitchen, which was not bad, just not what we wanted. I became the general contractor and got lucky and had good companies to work with.
We had a Jenn-Aire electric stove top. We wanted gas, but did not want to have to pay extra for a downdraft but wanted the same type vent. So I went to Sears and got a gas cook top. Jenn-Aire did not have either a double oven or dishwasher that I liked so we have several different brands of appliances in our kitchen. Before renovations we had a single oven and built in microwave. We wanted a double oven and did not want to give up space for a built in microwave, so we have a microwave on our counter. Sears installed the ovens and cooktop and that was challenging as the contractor to get the cooktop installed with new granite being installed, but it all worked.

The bottom picture is before we added over 40 cabinet pulls.
